Couldn’t recommend RAIS workshops more! I attended a few workshops there and learned so much from each one. You get to see great and talented actors work and learn and hear from professional directors/agents/casting directors who have experience and a lot of knowledge. The environment is supportive and friendly and RAIS team is always there to help. I got amazing quality footage and am so grateful for the people I met and everything I learned. Will definitely come back.

Really Enjoyed The Andrew Cumming Workshop at RAIS - great to see the process of approaching a lead role in action from so many different actors interpretation and a clear vision from Andrew. Great script by the way!

I have always made sure I do the odd casting workshop and similar, and I think it’s important to do that. But, I did feel they were a bit samey, if I’m honest.
I don’t know how Run At It Shouting passed me by until recently, but I spotted something on Insta that caught my attention. I love how they share useful videos from workshops.
I signed up and a workshop with Ben Gregor (Director) came up. A director from some phenomenal TV series such as Brassic and Brittania, Who works with acting royalty such as Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy (Folk of The Faraway Tree) and I jumped on it with excitement because I’ve not really seen such high a calibre level of this kind of workshop available before.
So… Did it live up to the excitement??
It was beyond!! It felt like Ben really cared about getting the best from his actors, and imparting as close as possible snippet of what it’s like to work at that level on set.
Ben is intuitive, and was very kind and supportive with those who needed it, straight talking, professional and respectfully challenging with those who needed that, and then just straightforwardly doing the job of walking us through the process on set.
Ben generously offers his experience and wisdom as he leads us from ..
So.. You arrive on set…
All the way through read through, rehearsal, blocking, directing/redirecting
Eye lines/camera awareness and nuggets of wisdom about ‘try that again but look here instead of here’; little nuances that change things dramatically on screen.
I have no hesitation in recommending Run At It Shouting and certainly I recommended pouncing on it if you see a workshop with Ben Gregor come up. Priceless!
